It's with great sadness we report that Pat Browning has passed away on 30th August 2026. She had been President of the Society up until March this year, She was, of course, the very beating heart of the group, Member since 1955 Chairman for 2 stints in the early 70's and again in mid 80's until she became President in 92. It was a very proud day to see her be presented with Diamond NODA Award for 60 years service.
Her funeral on 2nd October was very well attended by members past and present, packing out St John's Church in Margate where she had strong associations. As part of the Celebration of Pats life, our Chairman, Stuart, had been asked by the family to recount some memories of her years at the MOS. We will all miss Pat greatly.
